New conditions My Electricity 3.0? How much did they reduce the subsidy?
My current 3.0 has started! The program we've been waiting for has finally arrived. The previous edition of the government program ended on December 18, 2020, and the money paid in this edition ended even earlier. All investors who decided to install a photovoltaic installation in the transition period between the second and third call for proposals eagerly awaited the announcement of the rules and the launch of the program.
The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, for unknown reasons, delayed announcing the rules for a long time. From time to time, messages appeared on the fund's website and statements of individual persons that could influence decisions on the scope and amount of co-financing. At that time, there was talk of a subsidy for energy storage and chargers for electric cars. We couldn't wait ourselves, because customers are increasingly asking about the possibility of storing energy in home warehouses in a daily cycle or about emergency power supply systems. What's more, a few days ago another government program was launched My electricianwhere you can get a substantial subsidy for an electric car.
Finally, the rules were announced and, of course, there were changes, this time to the detriment of prosumers. Explaining the decreasing prices of photovoltaic installations, the creators of the program decided to grant a grant of PLN 3,000 (maximum 50% of eligible costs). Looking at it from this side, you can safely look for logic in this approach. One can even understand why this long delay in announcing the recruitment conditions. If the reduction of the amount by 40% took place overnight, surely people would protest and rightly see unequal treatment by the fund. Now, however, after such a long time of waiting, we are more grateful for anything and it is easier for us to accept less funding.
Is it a good or bad change? In our opinion, any support for ecology and more responsible demand for natural resources deserves praise. Of course, we'd rather see more tax breaks for installations, especially for companies, than this kind of redistribution of taxpayer money, but you can't have everything. At the moment, we are happy with new grants and we are filling out applications for funding for our clients.
Of course, you can also submit such an application yourself. The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management has prepared a detailed one instructions how to do it. Applications are submitted via the website Grant Application Generator. For people submitting a one-time application, we encourage you to log in via National Hub / login.gov.pl. You will need the following documents:
- Installation invoices.
- Confirmation of transfer for invoices or declaration of payment
- Certificate confirming the connection of the photovoltaic micro-installation to the grid, issued/signed by the DSO.
We wish you a lot of sun and a quick processing of your application for funding!
