The end of the "My Electricity" 3.0 call - what now?
Reading time: 2minutes
The next stage is behind us - on October 6 at 14:05 the funds in the budget of the "My Electricity" program ended. Thus, the recruitment for the third edition of the program has been closed. In the Application Generator system, you can no longer even select an application for co-financing photovoltaics - the administrators removed this option together with the last zloty.
The program covered installations with a capacity of 2 to 10 kW, serving the needs of existing residential buildings. The budget of the program included PLN 534,000,000 of non-returnable co-financing. The call for proposals was planned from July 1, 2021, until December 22, 2021. The co-financing amount was 50% of eligible costs of micro-installations, but a maximum of PLN 3,000. This means that in the third edition of the program - in just over three months - about 178,000 applications for co-financing were submitted.
It should be remembered that all those who performed the installation after February 1, 2020 could apply for funding. This means that in the first weeks of July, most applications were submitted by people who were not qualified in the previous, second edition.
What now? First of all, we are waiting for the fourth edition of the program. We hope that it will be announced at the beginning or in the middle of 2022 - so that everyone who bases their decision on the "my Electricity" subsidy has a chance to use it.
On the other hand, the photovoltaic installation itself is a great investment, even without any subsidies. I'll give you a few reasons:
– the tax relief (thermal modernization) for photovoltaics is on average more than the “Mój Prąd” benefit from PLN 3,400 to PLN 12,800. In total, the cost can be classified as up to PLN 56,000
- none bank deposit will not generate such a return on investment
– along with the improvement of the standard of living in our country, our energy consumption in households is increasing
– preparing to buy an electric or plug-in hybrid car
– rising gas prices, considering changing heating to a heat pump
We sincerely hope that the fourth edition of the program will come to us soon, especially we are waiting for funding for energy storage, electric car chargers and heat pumps.
Are you ready to check how much your installation costs?
