Victron systems switch to battery power in under 20 milliseconds — imperceptible to most devices, including computers and servers.

### How long can I power my home from batteries?

Runtime depends on battery capacity and load. A 10 kWh system will sustain essential home circuits (1–2 kW) for 5–10 hours.

### Do I need solar PV for backup power?

It is not required, but highly recommended. Solar PV allows the batteries to recharge during the day, extending autonomy significantly during prolonged outages.

### How much does a backup power system cost?
