# Energy Audits

We conduct energy audits compliant with the EU Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and ISO 50001. We help companies meet their legal obligations, avoid penalties from URE (the Polish Energy Regulatory Office), and find real energy savings.

## Scope of service

### Energy Audit (EED)

Mandatory every 4 years for companies consuming over 10 TJ (2,778 MWh). Energy balance, list of efficiency measures, and EnPI (Energy Performance Indicators).

### ISO 50001 Implementation

Energy Management System (EnMS) for companies above 85 TJ. PDCA cycle: Plan-Do-Check-Act — from energy policy to continual improvement.

### White Certificates

We help you obtain energy efficiency certificates from URE for achieved savings. Additional funding for your investments.

### Savings Plan with ROI

The report is not bureaucracy — it is a roadmap with specific investments, costs, and payback periods. Quick wins and a long-term strategy.

## Benefits

- EED Directive compliance — avoid URE penalties
- Real energy savings with ROI calculations
- Independent auditor — legal requirement fulfilled
- White certificates = additional financing
- ISO 50001 implementation plan (for the 85 TJ threshold)
- End-to-end service — from data collection to implementation

## Technologies and brands

- ISO 50001
- Dyrektywa EED 2023/1791

## Frequently asked questions

### Who is required to conduct an energy audit?

Companies consuming over 10 TJ (2,778 MWh) averaged over 3 years. Also large enterprises — over 250 employees OR turnover above EUR 50 million and balance sheet above EUR 43 million.

### What are the penalties for non-compliance?

The President of URE (the Polish Energy Regulatory Office) can impose a fine of up to 5% of annual revenue. New regulations are in effect from 2026.

### Does ISO 50001 replace the audit requirement?

Yes — implementing a certified ISO 50001 Energy Management System exempts you from the mandatory audit every 4 years.

### How do I calculate the 10 TJ threshold?

Sum all energy carriers (electricity, gas, heat, fuels) over the last 3 years and divide by 3. 10 TJ = 2,778 MWh, 85 TJ = 23,611 MWh.

### How much does an energy audit cost?

It depends on company size and number of sites. Approximately from PLN 15,000 net for a single facility. Exact quote after scope analysis.

### What does the audit report include?

Energy balance, consumption diagrams, list of efficiency measures with calculated ROI and NPV, Energy Performance Indicators (EnPI), and an implementation plan.
