# Heat Pumps

We install Panasonic Aquarea and Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pumps — premium solutions for heating and cooling buildings. Authorised service and manufacturer warranty.

## Scope of service

### Panasonic Aquarea T-CAP

Heat pumps operating efficiently down to -28°C. The highest COP on the market, ideal for the Polish climate.

### Mitsubishi Ecodan

Reliable heat pumps with Zubadan technology. Proven Japanese quality backed by a long-term warranty.

### Underfloor Heating

A heat pump combined with underfloor heating is the most efficient heating system. Even heat distribution throughout the space.

### Passive and Active Cooling

Heat pumps with a cooling function — year-round comfort from a single unit. Ideal when paired with fan coil units.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much does a heat pump cost?

An 8–12 kW air-to-water heat pump costs PLN 35,000–55,000 installed. The price depends on capacity, manufacturer, and the scope of installation work.

### Is a heat pump worth the investment?

Yes, a heat pump has the lowest operating cost of any heating system. With a COP of 4.0, heating a 150 m² home costs approximately PLN 2,000–3,000 per year.

### Does a heat pump work in freezing temperatures?

Panasonic T-CAP and Mitsubishi Zubadan models operate efficiently down to -28°C without an auxiliary heater. This is the best technology for the Polish climate.

### Heat pump vs. gas — which is cheaper to run?

A heat pump is 2–3x cheaper. Annual heating cost for a 150 m² home: gas approx. PLN 7,000, heat pump approx. PLN 2,500 (at COP 4.0 and electricity price of PLN 0.85/kWh).

### What subsidies are available for heat pumps?

Czyste Powietrze (up to PLN 45,000), Moje Ciepło (up to PLN 21,000), and a thermal modernisation tax deduction (up to PLN 53,000 off personal income tax).

### Will neighbours hear the outdoor unit?

Modern heat pumps produce 35–42 dB — about as loud as a quiet conversation. We install anti-vibration pads and maintain proper clearance distances.

### What about Legionella in domestic hot water?

The heat pump automatically performs periodic DHW tank heating to 65°C (anti-Legionella cycle). This feature is available in both Panasonic and Mitsubishi units.
