## Frequently asked questions

### How much does a solar installation cost?

A 5–10 kWp system costs approximately PLN 18,000–35,000 net. The exact price depends on system size, panel type, and mounting conditions. We offer a free quote.

### How much electricity will my system produce?

A 1 kWp installation produces an average of 950–1,050 kWh per year in Poland. A 10 kWp system will cover annual consumption of approximately 10,000 kWh.

### Does solar work in winter?

Yes, solar panels generate electricity year-round. Winter output is lower (around 10–15% of annual production) but still significant. Panels actually perform better at lower temperatures.

### How does net-billing work?

Net-billing is a settlement system where surplus energy is sold to the grid at the wholesale market price, while you buy at the retail rate. This makes maximising self-consumption crucial — ideally with battery storage.

### What subsidies are available?

Mój Prąd 6.0 (up to PLN 7,000 for PV, up to PLN 16,000 with storage), Czyste Powietrze (up to PLN 60,000 with thermal retrofit), and a tax deduction for thermal modernisation (up to PLN 53,000 off personal income tax).

### Can I add battery storage later?

Yes, hybrid systems (Victron, Huawei) allow you to add storage at any time without replacing the inverter.

### How long does installation take?

Residential 5–10 kWp: 1–2 days. Commercial 30–100 kWp: 1–2 weeks. The entire process from contract to commissioning takes 2–4 weeks.
