### How much does a Loxone smart home cost?

The cost depends on the scope of automation. A basic system with lighting and blinds starts from PLN 25,000. Full automation for a 150–200 m² home ranges from PLN 50,000 to 100,000.

### Does Loxone require an internet connection?

No — the Loxone system runs locally on the Miniserver. Internet is only needed for remote access via the app; all automation works offline.

### Can Loxone be installed in an existing home?

Yes, Loxone offers both wired solutions (ideal for new builds) and wireless Loxone Air (retrofit for existing homes).

### Does Loxone work with Alexa and Google Home?

Yes, but all automation logic runs locally on the Miniserver — without the cloud. Voice assistants are an optional add-on, not a requirement.

### What if Loxone goes out of business?

The system runs 100% locally, without the manufacturer's cloud. Even without Loxone as a company, your automation continues to work without any changes.

### How long does smart home installation take?

New build: wiring in parallel with the electrician + 2–3 days of programming. Retrofit (Loxone Air): 2–5 days of installation and configuration.
