The madness of post-pandemic prices will not end with the construction industry. From the new year, a two-digit increase in electricity prices can be expected, as the President of the Energy Regulatory Office, Rafał Gawin, informed in an interview with "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna". All because of the already high prices in the electricity exchange quotations. Wholesale prices are already PLN 386/MWh, and even PLN 428/MWh during peak demand hours. For comparison, we currently pay about PLN 300/MWh in households, so we can expect a considerable increase, which will be used by energy companies to compensate for the losses.
Since the beginning of the year, electricity on the power exchange has become more expensive than 40%, which is mainly due to the increase in coal prices and the prices of carbon dioxide emission allowances. We will not convince you here that a photovoltaic installation is the only right solution at the moment, allowing you to become independent of any increases in energy prices. May the net-metering system in Poland last as long as possible, which we sincerely wish you and us.
